概要

T2K is an accelerator-based long-baseline neutrino experiment using high intense neutrino beam from J-PARC accelerator and Super-Kamiokande as a far detector. T2K neutrino beamline can produce both muon neutrino and anti-neutrino beams, and by using these neutrino beams, T2K has the sensitivity to probe unknown phenomenon such as CP violation in neutrino sector.

In 2017, T2K reported an indication of CP violation with 95% C.L. from the data collected with 2.25x10^21 protons on target (POT). Since then, we performed data taking during Oct.-Dec. 2017 and Mar.-May 2018 with mostly anti-neutrino beam. Thanks to stable beam operation with 485 kW beam power, the anti-neutrino beam data were collected very efficiently and almost doubled since the last summer. The total accumulated POT exceeded 3x10^21 POT in this period.

In this seminar, we will present the results of the neutrino oscillation measurements with the data collected until the end of the last year and future prospects of neutrino experiments using J-PARC beam.
