Abstract

The seminar will start with the description of the PICSEL group of IPHC, its structure and activities. The Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor concept will be reminded together with the applications to charge particle tracking. Recent developments regarding the extension of the sensing volume for future particle colliders will be shown, together with spin-off applications such as proton and X-ray counting.
