概要
The stability of the electroweak vacuum plays an important role as a constraint on particle physics models. In this talk, we review recent theoretical progress on vacuum decay rate calculation and its applications. In particular, we discuss the near-criticality of the standard model electroweak vacuum, which has recently become increasingly evident through precise measurements of the standard model parameters. We also discuss possible constraints on some models beyond the standard model, including the minimal supersymmetric standard model with light
sleptons motivated by recent updates on the muon anomalous magnetic moment.
