Job Description
The successful candidate will belong to the Accelerator Laboratory, and engage in safety works on surface processing of superconducting cavities of surface processing facility which is being developed at Superconducting RF Test Facility (STF) and Superconducting Accelerator Promotion Center (COI). Since surface processing facility uses strong acid, the candidate will keep chemical safety and environmental safety in cooperation with organizations inside and outside KEK. It is necessary to be fluent in Japanese for cooperation with the management department and for application work to public institutions. The candidate will also engage in R&D on surface processing as well as operation and maintenance of the facilities.
Qualification
A person who has experience and knowledge regarding chemical safety and is recognized as capable of research and education.
