KEK, Georgian Ministry of Education and Science and Georgian International Education Center signed on a MoUTopics

KEK has singed on a Memory of Understanding (MoU) with Georgian Ministry of Education and Science and Georgian International Education Center ( EC ) concerning joint co-operation in high educational and research programs in nuclear and particle physics and related technologies.
The director general, Prof. Atsuto Suzuki, visited the ministry of education and science in Tbilisi Georgia on 8th December 2014. After exchanging opinions regarding education and research with Ms. Tamar Sanikidze (the minister of education and science of Georgia), Mr. Giorgi Sharvashidze (the vice minister of education and science of Georgia), and Ms. Nino Chelidze (the director of IEC), Prof. Suzuki and Ms. Sanikidze singed on the MoU.
This MoU is for providing financial support from the Georgian government to students vising KEK and for accepting them as KEK users to conduct research work.
After this signing ceremony Prof. Suzuki gave a presentation with a focus on KEK research activities at Georgian Technical University and was given an honorary doctorate from the university.
