This talk introduces an autoresonance-based extraction method forsynchrotrons. Autoresonance is a nonlinear phenomenon in which thebetatron oscillation frequency of particles automatically locks to afrequency-swept excitation under appropriate conditions. By exploitingthis mechanism, particles can be driven to large betatron amplitudeswithin a single frequency sweep, enabling millisecond-scale beamextraction. The seminar covers the motivation, physical mechanism,extraction scheme, theoretical analysis, simulations, and the mainresults of this work.
