Overview

The JAHEP Committee for Future Project (CFP) for the 2024-2026 term is working on shaping the strategy of Japanese high energy physics research to be communicated globally. In 2024, the committee’s first year, we are focusing on preparing the Japanese community’s input for the European Strategy, with a primary focus on next-generation large collider projects such as the ILC and FCC. This town hall meeting aims to share information on international trends, physics, accelerators, detectors, and project promotion. Through discussions, we hope to create an opportunity for various generations to think about, exchange, and share opinions on the future plans of high energy physics.

This meeting will connect five locations, with an online option available. We encourage inperson attendance if possible to foster discussions among various generations and experts from different backgrounds.

Regarding the presentations, they will be conducted in Japanese, but the slides will be prepared in English to ensure understanding by English speakers. English questions are welcome, and we will incorporate discussions in English as needed for any questions posed in English.
