Job Description
The position will be based at KEK with frequent travels to CERN, working with QUP PIs Yu Nakahama (ATLAS/KEK) and Manabu Togawa (ATLAS/KEK).
The successful candidate is expected to make outstanding contributions to all of the following
areas related to the ATLAS experiment:
- novel machine-learning techniques
- advanced state-of-the-art radiation-hard silicon detectors
- new methods to study di-Higgs final states or Long-Lived BSM searches.
The research activities mentioned above will be done as a member of the KEK-ATLAS group (*)and in line with its ongoing activities covering physics analyses and detector developments.

Qualification
・Those who have a doctoral degree in physics or a related field at the time of application, or those who are expected to obtain a doctoral degree by the time they take up the position.
・Relevant knowledge includes skills such as the application of machine learning algorithms and the development of silicon-based radiology centers.
