Fifth KEK Science Advisory Committee meeting held with new chair - KEK

The Fifth meeting of the KEK Science Advisory Committee was held in February 29, March 1, and 2, 2024, in person at KEK Tsukuba Campus.

At this meeting, we welcomed Dr. Geoffrey Taylor of the University of Melbourne, Australia, as the new committee chair and eight new committee members.　We heard the committee members’ broad perspectives and opinions on the progress of research and non-research activities being conducted at KEK.

KEK directorates, laboratory directors, and representatives from major research projects attended the meeting and gave their presentations. The committee members are currently compiling the report.
