Overview

Optically controlled neutrons are enabling improved measurements of
the neutron lifetime, the breaking of time-reversal invariance
in the search for permanent electric dipole moment and in the epithermal
neutron spin optics in nuclear polarized target, the nonconservation
of B (baryon number) and B-L (difference of baryon and lepton numbers)
in neutron-antineutron oscillation, the search for new forces
in neutron scattering, neutron interference and quantum levels
in geo-gravity. The overview of research activity and future possibilities
will be discussed following the IPNS workshop “Neutron Fundamental Physics”.
