Overview
Fermilab is leading and contributing to different accelerator projects including proton improvement plan (PIP-II) and LCLS-II HE which are based on SRF technology. This presentation introduces Fermilab’s activities specially SRF R&D work on various subjects including plasma processing, oxygen diffusion, thin film deposition system, Nb3Sn coating, electropolishing and HPR, and how these R&D works are beneficial for the progress of the ongoing projects.
