Overview
Rare decays of beauty hadrons proceeding via flavour-changing neutral current offer a unique ground to search for New Physics as well as to perform precise tests of the Standard Model.
Several “anomalies” have been observed in b->sll transitions during recent years, where a coherent pattern of deviations seems to be emerging.
However, further investigation is demanded from both the theoretical and experimental viewpoints.
In this seminar, I will give an overview of recent results in this rich field from the LHCb experiment, and discuss their interpretation and future prospects.
