Overview
Axion-Like Particles (ALPs) are hypothetical particles that emerge from global symmetry breaking and string compactification. Recently, ALPs have attracted much attention due to their relevance to dark sector scenarios. We propose a new beam dump experiment at the KEK Linac to search for ALPs coupling to diphotons. The proposed beam dump is shorter than conventional beam dump experiments and can examine unexplored regions. In this talk, I will present the beam dump experiment at the KEK Linac and its preliminary experiment.
