Overview
This talk will give a bit of historical overview about JACoW since itsbeginning in 1996: its activities, when it started, how it developed andwhat it developed, and where it stands today. Its main purpose is thepublication of proceedings of accelerator related conferences on theWorld Wide Web. But why this led to the development of an internationalcollaboration that helps with its specialists to organize conferencesand their workflow and which activities are covered nowadays will beexplained.
