Job Description

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and slow positrons, in materials and life sciences.

The successful candidate belongs to the Neutron Science Division (KENS). He/she is expected to drive material science through development of neutron instruments installed in J-PARC MLF by IMSS, especially neutron resonance spin echo spectrometers, and to lead the Soft Matter Group. He/she is also expected to develop inter-university research program and to play a leading role in the facility management. The workplace is KEK Tokai campus.

Person with the ability of research and education.
