Job Description
The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and slow positrons, in materials and life sciences.
The successful candidate belongs to the Structural Biology Section of Synchrotron Radiation Science Division 2 and is expected to lead research on structural biology of membrane proteins using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and synchrotron radiation, and to promote the development and technical advancement of experimental and analytical methods for such research. In addition, he/she will also support the joint usage of cryo-electron microscopy.The more details of the job description are shown here.
