Job Description
The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor position to work in the field of mechanical engineering related to accelerator science. The successful candidate will belong to the Mechanical Engineering Center, and is expected to take a role of research and development works with researchers, technical staff and external contractors in mechanical engineering field related to research project and/or collaborative research program carried out in KEK. The candidate is also expected to engage in the advanced research of mechanical engineering for future accelerator science. The workplace is the KEK Tsukuba campus.
Qualification
Person with the ability to research and educate. Communication ability in Japanese and English for the duties is required as well.
