Job Description

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and slow positrons, in materials and life sciences.
The successful candidate belongs to the Neutron Science Division, and is expected to drive structural studies of materials using the super high resolution neutron powder diffractometer, SuperHRPD, operated by KEK in J-PARC MLF, and to promote the development of the SuperHRPD, and to develop the inter-university research program. The workplace is KEK Tokai campus.
