Job Description

The successful candidate will engage in research related to the Simons Observatory, a ground-based CMB experiment under the KAKENHI project “Exploring the universe before the Hot Big-Bang with the world’s largest superconducting sensor array”. This includes thet development of the low-frequency Small Aperture Telescope (SAT-LF). The candidates is expected to play a central role in the laboratory development, deployment and operation at the observation site, as well as in data analysis, contributing to the realization of a world-leading search for primordial gravitational waves. The workplace is the Tsukuba campus.

Qualification

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or expect to have Ph.D. by the time of employment.
