Job Description

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and slow positrons, in materials and life sciences. The successful candidate belongs to the Soft Matter Group in the Neutron Science Division (KENS), and is expected to drive material science using the Village of Neutron Resonance Spin Echo Spectrometers, VIN ROSE, and the Soft Interface Analyzer, SOFIA, operated by KEK in J-PARC MLF, and to promote the development of these instruments, and to develop the inter-university research program. The workplace is the KEK Tokai campus.
