Job Description

The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) seeks applicants for a Associate Professor position to work in the field of cryogenics engineering related to accelerator science. The successful candidate will belong to Cryogenics Science Center of Applied Research Laboratory and will take a major role in research and development of advanced cryogenic engineering in accelerator science and experimental physics carried out at KEK. The candidate is expected to engage in particular advanced superconducting magnet technologies research as well as superconducting magnet development for the CERN-LHC accelerator upgrade program based on a cooperation agreement between CERN and KEK. The workplace is KEK Tsukuba campus.
