概要

In 2011, the conceptual design of the HL LHC interaction region magnets was started. Since then, the project has validated the engineering design on short models and prototypes, and is now in the delicate transition towards series production. In this seminar we will outline the main results on short models and prototypes, including setbacks and lessons learnt, in the different magnet technologies used for the project.
