概要

講師1:Yin Lixin (Deputy Director, Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, SSRF)
題目1:Progress and Future of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility
要旨1:SSRF, a 3.5GeV, 3.9nm.rad synchrotron radiation light source, started its user operation with 7 beamlines in May 2009. With excellent performance, it supplies annually beam time up to 5500 hours to synchrotron radiation experiments and beamline developments. By the end of 2014, the SSRF has served more than 10000 users, carried out more than 5700 experiments, and brought major experimental results presented in more than 1800 publications.
A proposal for SSRF Phase-II Beamline Project got the approval at the beginning of 2015. The project will pursuit sophisticated abilities in high resolutions on energy, momentum, time, space and single atom detection, as well as new opportunities through combination of different photon energy ranges. It consists of sixteen advanced beamlines, user experimental supports, beamline technique supports and machine upgrade, aiming to improve the experimental research capabilities particularly for energy, environment, material, life and earth science etc. The proposed construction period for the SSRF Phase-II Beamline Project is six years.
The free-electron laser technology is the next focus in SSRF. The DUV-FEL, a test facility for new FEL principle, has been operated for 5 years and got a series of important results. A soft X-ray FEL facility, the SXFEL, started construction at the end of 2014. It consists of an 840MeV Linac, a FEL undulator system and a photon diagnostic beamline. Currently, it serves as a test facility of future hard X-ray FEL user facility, while it can be quickly upgraded to a FEL user facility at "water-window" spectral region for scientific investigations. It will be commissioned in the last quarter of 2016 and the first lasing of the FEL is scheduled at spring 2017.
The progress and future of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility will be described in this presentation.

講師2:Gao-Yu Hsiung (President of Taiwan Vacuum Society, National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center, NSRRC)
題目2:Achievement of Taiwan Photon Source Project
要旨2:The Taiwan Photon Source, a 3 GeV synchrotron light source, has started commissioning since Dec. 31, 2014, and achieved the primary goals of beam current 100 mA at top-off operation with life time about 6 hours in 3 months. The dynamic pressure of 1.2 nPa/mA during beam cleaning to the beam dose of 33 Ah reflects the good vacuum performance of the electron storage ring. The concept of construction the large aluminum vacuum systems and the achievement for this project will be described.
