概要
The Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) in Beijing, China, in collaboration with a number of other institutions in China as well as in many other countries, launched a study of a 50-100 km ring collider. It would first serve as an e+e- collider for a Higgs factory with the name Circular Electron-Positron Collider (CEPC). The facility would then be upgraded by adding a 70-100 TeV Super Proton-Proton Collider (SPPC) in the same tunnel. In the past two years, enormous effort has been spent on the preliminary conceptual design of CEPC/SPPC covering quite a wide range of topics. This talk will be mainly on the status of CEPC accelerator physics study including the parameters, lattice, interaction region, beam dynamics, injection and so on.
