概要

Reactor anti-neutrino experiments at a distance have played a significant role in determining the neutrino oscillation parameters. A focus is moving to a very short-baseline experiment, in order to solve the reactor anomaly and to verify the possible existence of a sterile neutrino.

NEOS is a neutrino experiment for oscillation at 27-m and 5-m baselines to be launched in Summer 2015 in Korea.
A homogeneous type anti-neutrino detector using 1000 L of Gd loaded liquid scintillator has been designed and constructed.
The current status and the goal of experiment will be presented.
