Study of hadron beam dynamics

Study of beam transport and beam optics is performed to deliver the world highest intensity Kaon beam at Hadron Experimental Facility of J-PARC

Summary

Study of particle and nuclear physics is performed using the world highest intensity Kaon beam at Hadron Experimental Facility of J-PARC is . Especially, research, development, design and operation of beam lines and spectrometers, whcih are base of experimental studies, are carried out for hyper nuclear physics, study of rare decays of neutral K mesons, and related hadron physics.
Secondary beams, such as K meson beam, are transported into experimental areas and used for particle and nuclear experiments. The secondary particles are generated at a production target made of metal using the high intense primary beam which is extracted from the main ring and transported to Hadron Experimental Facility with a 200 m beam line. Several experiments are performed at the facility.
