Job Description
The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons,muons and positrons, in materials and life sciences. The succesful candidate belongs to the Surface Science Section in Synchrotron Raditation Science Division 1, and will promote advanced surface science research using various experimental techniques such as soft X-ray asbsorption and photoemission spectroscopies, in collaboration with staffs in the section. Moreover, he or she is expected to develop experimental techniques that is requred to the research. The workplace is KEK Tsukuba campus.
Qualification
Applicant must have a Ph. D. by the time of application, or is certain to receive Ph. D. prior to starting the job at KEK.
