Job Description
The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS) promotes extensive and crosscut use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation (SR), neutrons, muons and positrons, in materials and life sciences.
The successful candidate belongings to Synchrotron Radiation Science Division II and Structural Biology Research Center (SBRC), and is involved in protein structural analysis using X-ray crystallography supported by the BINDS (Basis for Supporting Innovative Drug Discovery and Life Science Research) project (AMED). The person is expected engage in life science research through expression, purification, crystallization, X-ray diffraction experiments, structural analysis, focusing on proteins related to carbohydrates and their complexes.
Qualification
A person who has knowledges and experiences in the research area and ability to conduct research and education. Holding a doctoral degree is mandatory.
