Job Description
The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and positrons, in materials and life sciences.
The succesful candidate belongs to the Surface Science Section in Synchrotron Raditation Science Division 1, and will promote advanced surface science research using various experimental techniques such as photoemission and X-ray asbsorption spectroscopies, in collaboration with staffs in the section. Moreover, he or she is expected to perform development of experimental techniques that is requred to the research, management of beamlines/apparatus, and cooperation with reserchers in KEK, universities and other research institutes.
Qualification
Person with the ability in research and education.
