Job Description
The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), which is affiliated to KEK acting as an Inter-University Research Institute Corporation to promote interdisciplinary and complimentary use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation (SR), neutron, muon and positron, in materials and life sciences research, is seeking an outstanding young scientists for the Muon Science Laboratory (KEK-MSL). The successful candidate will be responsible for the Inter-University Research Program Using Muon conducted at J-PARC MUSE Facility at the KEK TOKAI-branch and for the safe and stable operation as well as improvement of the muon instruments. Moreover, he or she is expected to participate in development of ultra slow muon, and to promote muon research in the field of nano-science,multi film and other applications.
