Job Description
The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS) promotes extensive and crosscut use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation (SR), neutrons, muons and positrons, in materials and life sciences. The successful candidate belongs to the Neutron Science Division (KENS) and is expected to drive material science through advanced usages of existing neutron powder diffractometers in J-PARC/MLF. He/she is also expected to develop inter university program with IMSS’s quantum beams. The workplace is KEK Tokai campus.
Qualification
Applicant must have a Ph. D. and excellent knowledge and experiences of material science based on crystal structure analysis.
