Interaction Region Magnets for ILC in Japan, SuperKEKB and eRHIC at BNL
Abstract
In this presentation we review the current status for the Interaction Region (IR) magnets for some current and future projects with emphasis on relevant Machine Detector Interface (MDI) issues. The projects discussed include the ILC in Japan and SuperKEKB electron positron colliders and the proposed eRHIC electron hadron collider at BNL. The MDI issues addressed range from ILC work incorporating dipole coils inside the main experimental detector solenoid and optimizing local anti-solenoid coils within the QD0 final focus magnet cryostat to accommodating challenging forward physics acceptance requirements in the IR magnets for eRHIC.
