Job Description

Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies is seeking to fill one assistant professor position with tenure. The successful candidate will belong to the high energy frontier experimental group and work on the development, construction, and operation of the silicon pixel detector for the HL-LHC/ATLAS experiment with international collaborators. The candidate will also actively work on the development of cutting-edge detector technology for future energy frontier experiments such as ILC. The candidate will be expected to play a central role in future energy frontier experiments.
* The high energy frontier experimental group is established at the IPNS to promote high-energy frontier accelerator experiments (consisting of members of the former ATLAS and ILC group).
