Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies (IPNS) is seeking to fill one associate professor position with tenure. The successful candidate will belong to the hadron group of IPNS, and will play a central role in the facility construction for the COMET experiment at J-PARC. In the operation of the facility, the candidate will be responsible for the beamline commissioning and its stable operation. The candidate will also promote the development of technologies to realize the intense muon beam and improve the sensitivity in future cLFV experiments. The work place is the Tokai campus.
