Job Description
The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and slow positrons, in materials and life sciences.
The successful candidate belongs to the Neutron Science Division, and is expected to drive studies of magnetism and strongly correlated electron systems using J-PARC MLF. Particularly, they are expected to develop advanced usage of the existing inelastic neutron scattering instruments operated by KEK and to develop the inter-university research program. The workplace is KEK Tokai campus.
