Job Description

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and slow positrons, in materials and life sciences.
The successful candidates belong to the end station engineering section of Photon Factory (PF, SR facility), and are expected to promote the development, sophistication, and joint usage of beamlines that are utilized mainly for diffraction/scattering or hard X-ray absorption spectroscopy measurements. The workplace is KEK Tsukuba campus.
