Job Description

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), one of the Inter-University Research Institutes, promotes advanced and multiple use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation, neutrons, muons and slow positrons, in materials and life sciences.
The successful candidate belongs to the Muon Science Laboratory and is expected to drive materials science using positive and negative muons, including practical materials, as well as the upgrading of beamlines and measurement systems for this purpose at the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility at J-PARC. The work location is Tokai Campus.
