The Radiation Science Center is concerned with the managements of radiation safety for the largest-scale accelerator facilities in Japan and more than 6000 radiation workers, radiation monitoring around accelerator and chemical safety for chemical wastes. The Radiation Science Center promotes the R&D studies on radiation protection and environmental chemistry related to accelerator and is one of the major organizations of accelerator health physics in Japan.
