Purpose and Vision
The project are now developing a next generation mixed signal LSI, QPIX, which can measure the total charge Q by ADC integrated in each pixel, as well as TOF and TOT, for Gas Track Detector.
Summary
A low power (300mW to 30mW), 6b 10Msps CMOS SAR ADC and a low power self-calibrating small mismatch (<1.5mV) comparator enable it. Small size (100μm x 100μm) and small power (<30mW) pixel and array (32 x 32) chip will be developed .
