The successful candidate will belong to Computing Research Center, and is expected to take a major role in designing, operating and improving the systems of the Center. It also includes designing systems for the KEK future projects. The candidate is also expected to engage in R&D work on computer-network systems and in research work on computing science related to accelerator science which is promoted by the KEK. |

The successful candidate will belong to the Wako Nuclear Science Center and work in the specially promoted research, "Study of the origin of heavy elements using an innovative mass spectrograph (P.I.; M. Wada)". This includes R&D of mission instruments, performing experiments, and analyzing results for comprehensive mass measurements of radioactive isotopes including super-heavy elements.

It is also promoting extensive research on accelerator technologies for future projects such as next generation light sources and linear colliders, as well as application of accelerator and accelerator theory.

Corporation to promote interdisciplinary and complimentary use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation (SR), neutron, muon and positron, in materials and life sciences research, is seeking an outstanding young scientists for the Muon Science Laboratory (KEK-MSL).
The succesful candidate will be responsible for the Inter-University Research Program Using Muon conducted at J-PARC MUSE Facility at the KEK TOKAI-branch and for the safe and stable operation as well as improvement of the muon instruments.
Moreover, he or she is expected to participate in development of ultra slow muon, and to promote muon research in the field of nano-science,multi film and other applications.

The successful candidate belongs to the Neutron Science Division (KENS) and is expected to drive material science through advanced usages of existing neutron powder diffractometers in J-PARC/MLF.
