The Department of Advanced Accelerator Technologies was established as a research center that can lead the accelerator science of the future, and promote the further development of Japan's already world-class accelerator science. In addition, through the strengthening of cooperation between industry, academia and government, we aim for the spread of valuable innovations born of technical developments for frontier accelerators.
