Central Computer System

Central Computer System supports IT infrastructures, computer system, mail, and web system for various researches in KEK.

The Central Computer System (KEKCC) provides computer resources for researches of particle and nuclear physics, accelerator, etc. The computing server is a Linux cluster system with 4,000+ CPU cores. The storage system uses GPFS file system (7 PB) and HPSS (16 PB) as hierarchical storage management system.

The current system has been operated since 2011, and utilized for different experiments in KEK, such as Bell, Bell II, T2K, etc.
